About

Hi! This is Rommel Fermalan and this is my personal blog where I will drop my ideas on anything.

I apologize if this blog is still a mess, I’ still getting the hang out of things here.

For a bit of background, I am a systems engineer and a web developer working for a japanese company, but still taking some freelance jobs if my schedule cooperates. If you any thoughts about technology, web or even nihongo… you can share it with me.

Form Wikipedia

“A soft reboot (also known as a warm reboot) is restarting a computerunder software control, without removing power or (directly) triggering a reset line. It usually, though not always, refers to an orderly shutdown and restarting of the machine.

The Control+Alt+Delete key combination on the original IBM PC was designed to allow a soft reboot for a quicker and more convenient (and, some argue, less stressful on system components) restart than powering the computer completely down then back up.”

So, why did I name my site after this booting style? Seriouly, I think it sound cool… nothing more.

What’s my plan for this site? Not much for now… I’m still in the process of building it up. But in the future, I hope this site will be a place where readers can reboot/restart… reading some new stuffs and ideas that can change their life in a way or two. Or, even help people with my specialty: technology and web. As the tag line of my front page goes… “Hit me twice, problem solved!”
